Hello my name is Sam and I have lots of suggestions for you - my owner Lauren loves to run and I go with her all the time.

The first walk is really close to St Erme - park in Tresillian and follow the footpath along the river to St Clement and then continue along the river to Malpas. There is a lovely pub called the Heron for a drink or even lunch - the food is great. Continue to Boscawen and there you will find another café - altogether 5 to 6 miles there and back.

The second walk is at St Anthony Head. Park in the National Trust car park and either follow the coast path to Portscatho ( two cafes on the way Thirstea at Towan Beach and Tatams at Portscatho) plus there is the Hidden Hut at Porthcurnick - a real treat. You can divert off to Bohortha and follow the path through to Place. The St Anthony - Bohortha - Place loop is about 3.5 miles long with stunning views over St Mawes.

Further afield is Penrose Estate in Helston. Again there is a National Trust car park and follow the loop towards Porthleven, heading into Porthleven at Loe Bar for a cream tea at The Twisted Currant (excellent for vegans and gluten free). It is about 10 miles including the diversion but there are lots of variations and a small café at Penrose itself.

Tresillian is about 3 miles from Starlight Barns and Penrose is around 25 miles.
