My name is Maya and I like walking with my owner Mel at Holywell or Crantock, both part of the National Trust. These are both on the North Coast with lovely views and you’ll come across a lovely little hidden beach. Polly Joke is famous for the poppies and wildflowers which cover the meadowland - a real bonus if you are coming to Cornwall in the Spring,
Dogs are welcome at Holywell or Crantock beaches and there are plenty of footpaths to explore. Be careful though because adders can be found in the dunes. They are poisonous and can give your dog a nasty bite so seek veterinary advice if bitten. There are lots of different walks around here, I sometimes explore Cubert Common, it’s a six mile challenging hike or I take a more gentle one-mile stroll on the common or Holywell beach.
Crantock Beach is 10 miles from Starlight Barns.
