My name is Greg and I am pictured outside The Hidden Hut. I love the walk on the coastal path in this part of Cornwall and The Hidden Hut can be found tucked away along the path near Portscatho on the remote Roseland Peninsula and a great place to stop and enjoy freshly cooked food out in the sea air. The name says it all trying to find the Hidden Hut could become a real adventure but it us a scenic trek in the N-Easterly direction towards Porthcurnick Beach. When you get to the granite steps leading down to the beach, carry on straight up the other set of steps in front of you and you’ll find it just over the brow of the hill.

It’s a very dog friendly place and the beach is safe with calm waters so great for dogs and the children. There are also free public toilet facilities and dogs are allowed on the beach all year round.

Portscatho is about 14.5 miles from Starlight Barns.

Below are some photos taken from Portscatho harbour wall and the second photo is from the carpark just outside the village - it leads onto the coastal path.
