My name is Doodle and I am 4 years old. If I want to go for a good explore in the woods with streams, fallen trees and loads of branches we head to Idless Woods. A good loop of around three miles but bring your wellies if it has been raining as it gets muddy. There is a free car park and The Woodmans Cabin where you can get really good refreshments next to the river.
Another favourite of ours is the walk from Flushing around the coastal path to Mylor around Trefusis Headland. Drive through Flushing and go to the end of the village where the road finally narrows and you will see other cars parked alongside the pavement. Then head towards the gate and the end and follow the path through fields of cows, glorious views of Falmouth, the docks will pass you by and then as you make your way towards Mylor the headlands and bays all come into view. There are a couple of great places to stop and have a lovely breakfast or a spot of lunch in Mylor, Castaways and Mylor Café are a locals favourite spot with Mylor Yacht Harbour going about its business right in front of you.
Idless Woods are 5 miles from Starlight Barns and Flushing is further afield at 16 miles
