Bob’s Best Coffee Stop REVIEW

So many quirky coffee stops in our beautiful county - can’t rank them but below are a few of my favourite stops. Some are small shacks, converted horseboxes or the local beach café. All come with a view - a bench or a wall!

Place your order - take a pew and enjoy

Tatams in Portscatho

Came across this little gem on a wintry Sunday morning, serving great coffee right on the harbour. Homemade cakes available to purchase and they have ledges across the wall where you can stand and savour our morning caffeine hit.

My next favourite stop is at Pendennis Point on the Falmouth seafront side. Walk up the steep hill on the town side of the Point, facing Falmouth and across to St Mawes overlooking the docks. Enjoy the views across to St Anthony Lighthouse and across the bay towards the Helford to the East. Now make you way back towards the seafront and just past the ‘divers’ car park there is a converted horsebox from Wesup serving great coffee. There are benches on the hillside overlooking the bay or metal seats on the lawn facing out towards the beaches. Take a pew and enjoy the great coffee before continuing onto the seafront.

Another great coffee stop is at Poldhu Beach Cafe located at Poldhu Cove, which is Cornish for "Black Pool". It is a lovely sandy beach and is suitable for families as you can build sand castles and there are plenty of rocks to explore. The café is open all year round and serves delicious hot chocolates - still serve coffee but I think we should include it!

Enjoy your holiday in Cornwall!
